For anyone who’s given Zycosan (f.k.a. Pentosan) – what should I be buying as the syringe/needle? Forgot to ask the vet about it yesterday when I was getting ready to order from Chewy, and I’d like to do what I can to speed my old gal’s first dosage along.
Depending on where you live, you might need a script, but you can pick up syringes and needles at any human pharmacy or vet supply place. Chewys even has a few options. Just ask your vet what you need.
I can’t answer your question, but I have no doubt that if you asked Chewy (where you are ordering from) they would tell you what gauge/size needle is most commonly used with that medication.
