Tack Locker Organization

I’m looking for some storage solutions for my tack locker and haven’t been able to find any inspiring photos that might work for me. Anyone have anything to share? I need to measure for dimensions but it’s a full length locker with two saddle racks on top. Below it I have most of my stuff in a tote bin with my saddle pads and grooming stuff stacked on top of that. As you can imagine it’s a hassle to go looking for anything in the bin.

I bought a collapsible hanging metal saddle pad holder. It has three bars to hold pads, boots, etc. (Amazon) I hung it inside the door of the locker. I also bought a hook over the door 3 hook for bridles /halters, etc. (Target) I keep all my medical supplies and smaller items in a collapsible crate that I got at Costco for about $10. The grooming box goes on the floor next to the crate. Hope this helps.

With the BO’s permission, I put 2 shelves in my locker. They are fairly shallow and allow me to store things in separate smaller plastic boxes- braiding supplies, trimming and clipping stuff, small hardware and tools (screwdriver, pliers, clips, screw eyes), lotions and potions I use occasionally, etc. Each box is labelled so I don’t have to rummage through a tote to find stuff. I also have a hanging wire thingy on the inside of the door (think cupboard under the kitchen sink type thingy) for smaller spray bottles, tubes, bottles of medication, duct tape, pen and note book. Hooks on the side for spurs, lead rope, lunge line, extra halter… Grooming kit and larger spray bottles go on the floor.
I am constantly amazed at how much fits in there! (that’s not necessarily a good thing )

I recently got these motion sensor sights for my locker. They’re super handy - I put one on each shelf so I can see all the way to the back. If your locker is metal, they’ll stick right to it. If not, they come with some 3m adhesive patches.
