My dad and I spent about a 6 months building a beautifull wooden tack trunk and it’s finally done! WooHoo! Im so excited! Today, as I was admireing how gorgeous it is, I relized its big, very big. I don’t want to take it out to the barn without a cover to make it last longer. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of online for a custom sized trunk cover but all there is is custom colored! Does anyone know where I can find one? Its 45in. by 35in.
I don’t know how to put a picture of it up or I would!

Still looks good after a few years.
I had one made by The Clohes Horse. It’s a nylon type material and it STAINS HORRIBLY. I’m not so happy about that. But the craftsmanship is great. I would talk to whomever you do go thru about getting a cover that is stain resistant.
I also really recommend the zipper. And padding to really protect your trunk.

I needed a HUGE cover too. I had a hard time finding one for under $150 just because of how much fabric was needed! I know the website is geared towards Arabs, TN Walkers and other NON-hunter breeds but they had the best price on the custom trunk cover with a padded top and heavy-duty zipper and the fabric is better than the Smartpak cover (a friend of mine has one from them). Ordered it custom (color, piping, trim and a monogram) and it arrived in literally 2 weeks! Great product and I would buy from them again!

I got my trunk cover through Chuck from Blue Ribbon Blankets last winter in Florida and I LOVE it!
It is made out of Sunbrella (the same fabric that they make hore show tack room set-ups from) so it doesn’t stain like that nylon fabric. It has a zipper (easy access when I’m in a hurry) and has padding. Best of all, the price was good and it arrived quickly!

She now works out of her home but still provides the same quality custom reasonably priced items. Anything and everything I’ve gotten from Susan has lasted me for years. I still have a saddle pad she made me in High School and you’d have no idea it was 12 years old.

I got mine from Smartpak in custom size and colors. Just call them with the measurements. Mine is an old antique that is 60" long, and I wanted to protect it. It’s a nice cover, with padded top, binding and piping. Not thrilled with the monogram on it, but that might be due to the style I picked (script), which I thought would match my other monograms, but does not.
I also bought mine from smartpak. They custom made mine, since my trunk has odd measurements, and added a zippered padded top and monogram at my request. It turned out quite nicely, fits perfectly, and wasn’t too much money.

I have a trunk cover from Susan too! Excellent quality and the price was reasonable. 
She does great work.
Smartpak! I love all their custom items. I haven’t tried the trunk covers, but everything else holds up really well.

Letter Perfect Embroidery does trunk covers as well. They are located in Ontario. If you’re in the States, it might be a really good deal for you (even with shipping) since the CAD is so low!
