Tack trunk plates

I purchased some tack trunks to refurbish and put in my barn lounge. One of them had a 7x5 brass name plate on the front. I’d like to replace it with something similar but I’m having trouble finding something of a similar size.

Any suggestions?

It doesn’t have to be REAL brass, and I might go with chrome I just need something big enough to not look dinky on the trunk and to cover up some damage.

I am considering that but I’ve seen them in oval before (and this trunk had one we pulled off) and I think it looks snazzy.

Have you tried Phoenix West? They usually can do any size.

I had the same issue, and got one off Etsy. It was adhesive-backed, but it looks great! Plus it was so affordable. I can pm you the product link if you want. I believe it was a custom size, which was nice.

The link from @Xanthoria has solid brass in the size you need w/1 line of engraving (letters blackened) for $16.
They look really nice… So nice I’m going to measure my old wood trunk - sitting in the basement - for a plate
