I was tempted to buy Charlie sight unseen. Thankfully he was a 6 hour or so drive away and when asked with non refundable down payment, his seller was willing to haul him to me for a PPE/test ride. I paid him for the hauling as well of course and put him and his wife up for the night/covered their meals as the PPE was the day after they arrived. They stayed in a local gem tourist area by the lake and really seemed to enjoy themselves! After I took him off the trailer, there was not a chance he was going back home with them haha. I still keep in touch with his seller and a couple others that have fjords from him. So far my experience with Fjord people in real life and online has been overwhelming positive.
With having laminitis and colic in 2021, and allergies this year, plus vaccine reactions (!) I don’t know if I hit the jackpot health wise, but everything seems to be managed well now fingers crossed.
