OP, you say he’s your baby, but you’re willing to consider MAJOR ELECTIVE SURGERY WHERE THEY CUT HIS TOES OFF. They are not just taking out the claws, they are CUTTING OFF BONE. Would you really put your cat through this? The clinic I work for almost had a cat lose her paw after doing a declaw. She stayed with us for 2 MONTHS while we tried to save her paw. This was a declaw done by a very competent vet. There are just no benefits to this surgery. Try prozac, try pheromones, try anything but irreversible mutilation to his paws.
