Talk to me about Devoucoux saddles?

I appreciate the heads up, for sure! I really like what I’ve ridden in so far and probably will always buy used.

I’ve read the horror stories here on this forum, but I had a good experience with the company and love my Biarritz. I also have a beefy TB. It fits him well, and I tried many different saddles when I was searching. That being said, the rep I dealt with is no longer with the company, and I’ve heard that the new saddles are now made in Morocco rather than France. Either way, buying used often seems to be a good approach with tack.

Thanks! There are few things I hate more then trying to break in a new saddle.

I tried to buy a saddle from Devoucoux and had the worst experience ever, they had an inexperienced rep who tried 3 times to get the saddle fitted correctly. 6 months after waiting for them to fix it they intimidated me into either taking a huge restocking fee or getting nothing and being left with a saddle that no on would be able to use because they messed up the panels. I called the manager, called France, called CWD … no one cared. Buyer beware with that company. The saddles feel great but if they don’t fit perfectly off the shelf, forget it bc they never will.
