Tall boots for tall rider

What are the best tall boots for a 5’10” woman? They don’t need to be custom. Just wondering if any brand specializes in boots for tall riders.

Thanks!

Fellow tall rider here, 5’11 and mostly legs .

You will need to measure the height you need and go from there. Plenty of brands offer tall, and extra tall lengths. I don’t know of any that specialize in it though.

I have always had to go with custom or semi-custom boots. I need a 54 cm height and have never been able to find those off the rack. I prefer DeNiro and Celeris if you go the custom route! Below is a pair of my DeNiro boots. Good luck!

Yeah, you may have a very tough time finding something off the rack. I am 5’8” and I am in the XXTall parlanti which is only 50.4cm for my shoe size (40). I think most off-the-rack boots won’t be more than 51cm but others may have better insight!

Hi,

The Ariat Kinsley dress boot is tall enough for me! I’m 5’11” with long legs. I felt lucky with those!

Depending on your foot size, have you looked at men’s boots? They tend to have taller heights available than the women’s versions.

I’m 5’8” and a lot of leg! The extra tall Parlanti’s aren’t my favorite height wise. My favorite boots are Fabbri and personally, I didn’t have to buy custom. The Spanish tops help a lot with long legged people!

I’m 5’10" and have long legs. I have a pair of Petrie Veronas that fit beautifully. They have a pretty extensive selection of sizes without going custom.

I don’t even know why I’m on this thread, I am not tall and not in need of boots. But these are gorgeous! :star_struck:

I am only 5’8. I have found both Tuccis and DeNiro fit me well. DeNiro off the rack fits, Tucci added a cm for me. I ordered both from Europe to save on the money, but it requires being good at taking your own measurements and being comfortable with a gamble (that has not always paid off).

I’m 5’9 and have Mountain Horse Sovereign boots in brown & black. I love that I can get several pairs for the price of just 1 custom.IMG_20231224_083558

When my daughter rode, she was 5’11’ with a 13’ calf and a 19" height… It was difficult. I went with ego7 and they fit very well.

I’m tall, 52cm boot measurements and a wide calf. With that combo I’ve been able to wear one or two styles of Ariat. Finally got custom Celeris last year. Highly recommend.
