Tattoo lookup with racing name only?

My Thoroughbred gelding passed away tragically at the end of January in 2017. I have his JC name but not his tattoo number. His papers were lost years ago unfortunately. I would like to find his tattoo number if possible, as I would like to get it as a tattoo on myself as a one year memorial of his passing. Does anyone know if this is possible?

His JC name was Sport D Hiver, a 1992 bay gelding, turf racer, raced all along the east coast, he was born in Florida. He ran for about 10 years and won over half a million. He was a one of a kind horse and I miss him dearly.

They are very helpful. Since your horse was born in 1992, his number would start with a V, so you can use that at least when entering the info.

Sorry about losing your horse. There are many more ottbs out there who need a home. Won’t replace your special horse but will give you someone to love and take care of while saving a life.
