Taylored Tack- Your Opinion

I’m looking at her 3 in 1 bridle combo and am wondering if anyone has any feedback on craftsmanship and durability?

TIA

One word - outstanding! A few more words: Beautiful craftsmanship, lovely material, soft, flexible, and stunning when on the horse. Mine are several years old and have hundreds of miles on them - and they still look like they were bought only yesterday.

Amanda will happily custom make anything you want - including dog collars. She’s a lovely person to deal with, and sells only the best.

I have the Truly Classic Halter Bridle and LOVE it. Easy to clean, holds up well. A friend of mine also has the same bridle I do - it’s years old and still looks new.

One very nice feature was the custom sizing - my Thoroughbred has a head that is exactly between a horse & a cob size

Did I mention I love Amanda’s work?

Lovely workmanship, beautiful bridles. Can’t say enough about the customer service when I had to get a size issue tweaked. They are well worth the premium.

Sounds like I should whip out the tape measure and start my order!
Thanks

ooooh, look out amex!

Agree with what everyone else has said, and I second the custom work. My horse has an old halter scar, and I was worried about the noseband rubbing it raw (like every other bridle I’ve had). Amanda took it back and padded it up for me, and now his scar doesn’t get irritated, even after 50 miles. (pic of the padded bridle in my profile)

Her work is top-notch and beautiful, absolutely worth it!

If anyone has a bridle with the the horsehair tassel http://www.tayloredtack.com/BRIDLES.htm or the beads http://www.tayloredtack.com/BRIDLES.htm

How well does the horsehair tassel hold up over time? Does it start unravel after awhile? Do the beads bounce against the horse’s head? I have a SSH with a lot of head-bob. I don’t need a new bridle (I have a good Hought), but I kept my job in the last round of lay-offs so I’d like to get a new bridle to celebrate, and I’ve been looking at the first one for a long time.

Love their stuff! I have the Navaho bridle, which has the beads in the center. It’s held up great, and the beads don’t bother my very sensitive Arab at all.

And I ADORE the Hopi reins!

Here’s a photo from last Fall with the bridle and reins (on the grey Arab - Zilco on the black and white TWH).
