What do you think about this ones pedigree for sport? Hoping to take a look at him in person this weekend.

Soooo not a pedigree expert but my mare’s damsire is distorted humor. She is smart as a whip, a little complicated but generally willing. Good movement and jump, but shes built pretty heavy/broad and short backed. I don’t think she would have the gallop for upper levels. But I have no idea what side the “weight” came from .
Fusaichi Pegasus is pretty popular for sport.
Take a close look at those legs. There may be a good reason that the horse is unraced.
I always say you should judge the horse in front of you instead of the pedigree. But since you asked, (caveat, I race TBs rather than event them) Fusaichi Pegasus is known for siring horses that tend to be mean, dumb, and uncooperative. I hope for this horse’s sake that he inherited Distorted Humor’s temperament instead.
Flower Alley is a taller, more refined version of his sire, Distorted Humor. The straight shoulder probably came from FA. The longish, soft pasterns are a legacy of both FuPeg and Distorted Humor. The chunky body came from Salt Lake. Unfortunately I don’t see much Giant’s Causeway in him (in that single picture).
Of course he may look entirely different in person.
Way Way to Much Mr. Prospecter for my taste…but then again we can’t see the horse or watch it move.
He’s not unraced, as someone commented above… Admittedly 2 starts isn’t much but he did run.
FWIW, Doesn’t look like the trainer runs a ton, but of his 3 violations on record, they’re all drug positives. (he only ran 4 horses in 2019, 24 starts. In 2018 and he had 1 positive test for Triamcinolone Acetonide, and in 2015 he had two positives but reading the reports it sounds like the testing at Portland Meadows had changed or something because there’s a description of a rash of cases of positive tests for Dex and even a changed rule in the state. )
