TB's I Have Known - [FB PAGE STARTED w/ Database!!! - update on 1st post]

I just found this list, it is really cool to read all these names. I actually found one I knew!!

Some I know now-

Rudirudy- 1995 Won over $700k on turf- bred in FL, came from Laurel Park running low claimers. Would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about him!

Ramist- 1990? dark bay. I can’t find him in JC, I don’t know if he is American bred. Run over jumps, then a hunt staff horse. Any info would be helpful! MD

Red Foe- 2000 Bred in NY, came from Laurel.

Stonewood Manor- 1984. Ran over timber, then a great foxhunter.

Shamrock Isle
Cantfindmyglasses
Swayo
Secret Impression
Will Prevail

I could go on and on…

Corporate Report
Deposit Ticket
Peteski
Coastal Storm
Duckhorn
Digamist
Quarry
Lil’s Lad
Company Approval
Ecliptical

Would love any info about Providential River, may be IR bred. Last seen running at Timonium during the fair, probably 7-9 years ago. Loved that horse.

I believe he would have been OUT of Key To The Mint, so he would be a half sibling to Corporate Report. :D
Did Key To The Mint have a sex change when I wasn’t paying attention? He was the sire of Ten Cents A Kiss who was Corporate Report’s dam. Counterfeit Money was by KTTM and out of Con Game (um by Buckpasser I think?) who was also the dam of Seeking The Gold and Fast Play.

Gosh, the list is really loooooooong! Can’t possibly list (or remember…) them all, but there have been many standouts and a few really special ones:

Reality’s Gem (Gembo, Gemberoni)
Last One Up (Louie)
Spectacularly Pink (by the one and only Bid; gray stud)
Leap to Fame (huge heart, huge effort, a difficult mare but I understood her. She got better and better as she raced and, sadly, broke down after losing her last race by a whisker. I think about her every, single day)
Silent Annie
Snows Gone (she’s local, in foal…I can visit her anytime)
A Penny Over
Majella
Affectionate Iron
Master Kong
Steve’s Lucky Lady
Frosty November
Packin’ Heat (big time h/j now)

Okay, that’s enough. This could take all night. Plus, I’m getting misty.

What a neat thread! I’ll play!

I currently also have Emirates Sevens a 2003 bay who’s about to start his career as an event horse

Just one for me…

I have a 2001 gelding named In The Lurch I got at Suffolk last year. Anyone ever heard of him?
I remember him!! Very handsome!!! And seemed to be a sweet kind horse if I remember correctly. Although I saw him for sale on another board, hopefully he finds his “person”

My first horse: “Dazzling Reef” (1992) - retired
My old jumper: “Gone With The Win” (1989) - retired/trail
First rescue: “Dana Marie Gee” (1997) - R.I.P
New Project;OTT “Desert Eclipse” (2005) - gonna make him a CDE horse

I love my horses! and I love Thoroughbreds! (and I love my American Warmbloods - both out of TB mares!)

marcy’s emperor

Anyone ever heard of Marcy’s Emperor? I rehabed him and then gave him to a woman from sw Va. who may have turned out to be somewhat questionable, website, email disappeared no phone calls returned. He was given to me as a racehorse with the promise that he’d get a good retirement. I 've always worried about him.

I just recently found out the JC name of a mare I have had for years. She is Landing the Gold, and raced in NY in the late '90’s Anyone remember her?
