TC Naturals vs ADM PrimeGlo

I have an easy keeper that I have been feeding PrimeGlo to for 3 years with great success. The only downside is it is difficult for me to get in my area.

I noticed that Triple Crown has come out with a product called Naturals that is very similar. Has anyone used it or have thoughts on it?
Thanks!

TC Naturals is a whole line of products, not just one. I don’t see a product in their Naturals line that is similar to PrimeGlo. They have TC Lite, for easy keepers. It’s much lower in NSC than PrimeGlo, if that is a consideration.

I’ve been feeding Triple Crown products for years to my OTTB mare and have been very happy with the results. My mare is an easy-keeper but has Cushings, IR, and chronic laminitis (all in check for quite awhile now). Because she is an easy-keeper and has metabolic issues I keep her on the TC 30% and Safe Starch forage (along with free-choice hay but she is NOT a big hay eater at all). The Naturals line is good stuff but the pelleted feed is 20.1% NSC which is not something I’d choose. You’re better off going with their TC Lite or the TC 30% because you also have an easy-keeper. I have no experience with Primeglo so I can’t comment on that.

thanks for the input! I was referencing the pelleted “feed” in the Naturals line

I didn’t look at the TC Lite, but PrimeGlo is 16.6% and TC Naturals is 20.1% - I’m assuming a higher percentage number means it has more?

My goal is to stay away from grains, but have all of the nice supplement package built in, AND find a product that is more readily available here than the PrimeGlo. Maybe since my mare is doing so well I’ll just stick with it.
