Tech Stirrups Venice ??

Anyone have any experience with the Tech Stirrups Venice? Looking at getting safety type stirrups and saw these. There are not many reviews except on Horse and Hound. Thanks!

Those look interesting!

Update! In case anyone else was interested in the stirrups.

I had a hard time finding reviews from people in the U.S. so I bit the bullet and bought a pair. I love them! They have a good weight to them, the tread is grippy without being sharp enough to scratch stirrup leathers, and the release mechanism is great! The outside branch has a spring hinge and with enough pressure will release from the body of the stirrup. Once the pressure is removed, the outside branch swings back into place and holds tight by use of a magnet.

I have these and am in love with them. They have weight to them (I detest “light” stirrups), they are beautiful and functional. And safe.

Do you worry about getting caught on the protruding edge of the break away of the stirrup if you fall? Having seen several kids get their clothes caught on the protrusion on the peacock stirrups, I am not sure about that type of design.

Anyone want to update this thread? I’m looking at safety stirrups and like the looks/idea of these. Do you still like them?

I love mine! Super grip, perfect weight, and I don’t worry about my foot getting hung up if something happens.

I have them as well and really like them a lot! I got lucky and found them on clearance over the holidays for $200!

I have them and like them too- the tread is great! The feel a little narrow on my foot but I am ok with it, knowing that i won;t get hung up.

I like mine as well. A little narrow for my foot but the breakaway is done well. And I had to get over the price.

What size is everyone using? I am a size 5.5 or 6 in US womens and I am going to order. Thanks!

I wear US women’s size 8 and have the adult size Tech Stirrups (4 3/4"). They were quite an investment, but I absolutely love them.
