I have a Tekna Dressage saddle that I absolutely love, but i cannot find a narrow gullet plate for it. I have emailed the manufacturer with no response, checked every online store and eBay with no luck. The last online store i contacted emailed me that they were discontinued by the manufacturer. I don’t know if other gullet plates would be comparable from a different manufacturer? I suppose I could take the gullet plate I currently have and go down to the tack store to see if any other plates have matching sizes and holes.
The saddle is fantastic. I love the material and security compared to wintec and it fits one of my horses. I think with a narrow gullet plate it would fit the other horses as well, if i could just find one. With my recent foot injury, it’s the only saddle I’m comfortable in right now. The other saddles either make my foot hurt or don’t feel as secure.
I’ve reached out to Tekna UK. Maybe I can find one overseas.
