I’m looking to get a dressage saddle, and since I don’t own a horse (I lease), I wanted something synthetic with a changeable gullet until the day comes I finally own a horse again and can get a proper saddle fitted to it. I am not a fan of Wintecs, and while I LOVE the Thorowgood dressage saddle I tried, the flaps were simply too short (16.75", I need an 17.5" at LEAST).
Doing some looking around, I stumbled upon the Tekna, which has an 18" flap on the 18" and 19" seat size (which is what I would need).
A couple of questions, because all the forums mentioning the Teknas on here are from YEARS ago, and I don’t know if they still apply. Do the seats run small/true/big? I have a bigger booty, need some space to sit in the saddle properly. Good wither clearance? I lease a TB with a prominent wither.
Any info you may have on them would be a huge help! Thanks!
