Tell me about Routinier Foals

I have been casually shopping for my next horse as Miss Mare is getting to be up there in age and has earned a posh retirement. I have found a 2011 Routinier colt that I keep going back to. I’m totally smitten with him and while I was really looking for a riding horse, I keep drooling over this guy.

I’ve been out of the bloodlines business for a while and don’t know much about his sire, Routinier. Can you guys share any of your experience with this bloodline?

Routinier is by Rohdiamant who was one of the best sons of Rubinstein, and he is out of an Inshcallah mare

Rohdiamant was also out of an Inshcallah mare so you have a double cross of that arab line close up

he is also from the cinderella dam line which has produced alot of good horses

i bred a Routinier filly who was incredibly gorgeous and still have semen in my tank

My sister and I both bred our mares to him and have 2008 offspring. Both very different but both have excellent temperaments. We were looking to get that R line disposition and have not been disappointed!

KrazyTBMare who posts in the dressage forum has a Routinier gelding just starting his show career. You may want to find her Sexy Rexy posts for photos.

I sold a chestnut TB in foal to Routinier that delivered a beautiful dark bay filly with a stellar disposition. She was born broke and cheerful, and stayed that way. This year she turned five years old and went to her first show where she pinned Reserve Champion out of 30+ horses. Her 2nd show she got 2 x 8th places in another enormous class.

Routinier stands at my farm and has lived with us for a few years now. He is the sweetest, most wonderful stallion I have ever had the pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. I have met a number of his foals and he improves the mares he is bred to in terms of movement and temperament. If you are in the area, please make an appointment to come meet him in person and you will have no hesitation about breeding to him!

Depending on the mare, they can jump, too.

Very sweet. I’ve had two.

I have had 3 Routinier foals and all three have been love bugs. I have know numerous others as well. All are superb in temperament and movement. I think he consistently throws super minds, great neck set, nice engines.

My mare had a Routinier foal before I bought her. I considered using him on her again. Nice movers, big, really good disposition. I rode him and he had a lot of potential. As others said, I think they’re a good horse to buy for most people.
