Tell me about this (blind) horse!

Meet Charlotte. She is blind and I have no history on her whatsoever.
I am hoping I can get some guesses on her age as well as her cause of blindness. Any guesses are extremely appreciated!!!

I’m terrible at teeth but if I had to guess, most likely late teens or twenties for age and uveitis or some kind of infection for the eyes.

She’s really pretty! I’m sorry she’s blind.
Just a guess, I’d say she’s 2 1/2 years old (or less). How tall is she? Again, just a guess, Arab/QH or TB/Percheron
What does the vet say?

She’s got to be in her mid-teens, minimum. Those aren’t baby teeth by a long shot.

Ah yeah, those look like scars from uveitis. My Appaloosa mare has them.

What a cutie pie Charlotte is! I see Arab in there, and she could have the varnish roan from an Appy ancestor too.

I’d say 8 or so. Shes too dark colored to be really old, but her teeth aren’t those of a really young horse. She’s cute!

How big is she? It’s hard to tell with no reference in the photo but she looks like a pony with a slight build to me. I’d say she’s an Appy or POA cross based on her eyes, spotting on her lips and around the eye. With the way she’s greyed out it’s hard to tell if there are any actual spots in that coat or not, or her color may actually be from varnish roan. Blindness I would agree on uveitis.

There’s no way that’s the same horse. Wrong color and the horse in the photo is definitely not of that breeding.

That’s Appaloosa for sure. I don’t think she has grey at all. Maybe both Rabicano and Varnish on a dappled base coat (not grey dapples just dapples).
I think the Moonblindness confirms that.

“smooth mouthed” so over ten, I agree with the ones putting her into her late teens.

18 to 20 years old!! No way younger than mid teens. Galvanie’s groove is almost all the way to the bottom of the tooth.
