Temperature changes

This week has been a balancing act of how heavy of blanket vs how much wind we have going on.
When turning out I basically went… wind chill below 25? Everyone is staying in their night blankets. If they are a touch warm from 2-4 pm the temp will be dropping quite quickly as soon as the sun starts going down.

I hate having to break water troughs multiple times a day. I hate having to clean water buckets when it’s icy. I really hate discovering the breaker blew and all the heated water buckets froze overnight. I’m really over the cold.

Looking at the forecast for this weekend… low of 7°F on Friday. High of 65°F on Sunday. Can we decide which season we’re doing, please?

Still getting rollercoaster weather out here. We just had several days of near 80°F (78°-79°) but it is supposed to snow Friday night. Oh, and rain/sleet Thursday-Saturday.
