Tevis Cup 2014!!!!

Ok, who else is excited?! it starts in 8 days and I can’t wait!! Competing in it would be a lifetime dream for me, but for now I enjoy living vicariously though videos, blogs and pictures.

So, anyone competing, or have friends competing? Got any good links to blogs, or videos of past Tevis Cup rides?

ME!!! any good blogs?

Yes, it is exciting! It always is.
I rode last year (and finished, phew) but this year I’ll crew for a friend which actually is not an easy feat either because of the somewhat complicated logistics of this particular event.

Jenni Smith’s blog is here.
Looks like she “lost” her mount but will now ride Stoner, Rusty Toth’s horse!

And here’s someone else’s blog who will attempt Tevis this year.

Then there’s Heather Reynolds’ blog. She’ll borrow one of her friends’ horses, ride, fly back East, and then off to France. Busy lady she is…

I’m sure there are other blogs discussing Tevis as well.

I’m excited! Lieselotte, thanks for the great blog recommendations. I’d love to hear about your experiences this year, too!

I agree - I think we need a play by play!!!

Best of luck to everybody competing at the Tevis Cup. My aspirations are probably never going to run that high as a newcomer to endurance so I really admire those who do this.

I dream about trying an endurance ride and Tevis is awesome! But I do not have the right horse. I hope everyone that is competing at Tevis has a safe trip. I love following along.

My good friend and her kids are well on their way! Photos of the ride here

This has to be the cutest photo of a Tevis Cup winner ever!

The ride this year was great with the highest percent finishers on the traditional course in history. Lots to read on the facebook page!
