Tevis Question

The wonderful young lady who helps us with our horses is on the ride now and I am following her on the internet Tevis site. Wondering what it means on their checkpoint details if there is no time “In” but there is a time “Out” or visa-versa. Does that mean they were held? What if there is no time In or Out - could it be that the info just isn’t yet on the site?

Thanks for any information.

If there is no in or out time, the rider is on trail. Otherwise, there is probably a lag between data input.

If there is an out time with no in time recorded, that only means the data entry people had space to put just one time, and that the rider had completed the hold and been released back out on trail.

Thank you.

Will there be data for each checkpoint? If they stay at a check point for a while is that because they are made to do so/held?
Sorry.
Just a bit nervous thinking of her. She has been in the saddle 14 hours now. Saw that she got past the 50 mile point.
