We are looking to relocate to Somerset or Hunterdon County in NJ. Found a house we love on the “tewksbury trails”. I’m assuming this is a bridle path through the township, but cannot seem to find any information on it. Is anyone familiar with it? Or any barns in the area that go to the local hunter paces, etc? Thank you.

They have hunter paces and they are really fun - very well organized, and the ride is across some very pretty country.
Thank you so much!
Lots of hunter paces here!!! Probably one every weekend if you are willing to travel a bit. There is a great one put on by essex hounds right in tewksbury. Lots of fun. There is also the readington trail system, http://readingtontrail.org/ this one is our go-to for conditioning since it is rideable from my barn. Then there is the amwell valley trail system http://avta.net/ and also covered bridge. http://www.coveredbridgetrail.com/
lots and lots of space to ride here!! Welcome!
Depending on what you want to do, there are numerous barns in the area. Many properties also have backyard barns or a nearby neighbor with stalls you can lease.
