Many thanks to the members of the Potomac Hunt Club for a great Hunter Pace today. Most especially to Alec, Tina, Carolyn, and Elaine for letting me join their team. Also Alec’s wife (who’s name I seem to have forgotten already, which is horrible, considering she so graciously fed me after my run !!)
New to the area I showed up by myself, assured by the farm vet and hunt member Liz Reese that I would be made welcome and could find someone willing to take me along. Alec agreed to take me on, and despite my mount kicking his heels up at the start and then once right in poor Alec’s face:( we got through pretty well.
The turnout for the pace was tremendous and everyone there was as nice as could be. THANKS PHC for a great day !!
