Thanks, Goldmaker!!

just had to post and give a nod to Avalon Equine’s “Goldmaker.”

Galatea RHR, his foal o/o my mare Welkene (Weltmeyer/Batido/Bolero) was graded Gold Premium at her RPSI inspection, with an 8.4 on movement and 8.1 on conformation/type.

We got some great pics (thanks Cocalla Sporthorses), but for some reason my stupid Webshots site refuses to talk to my computer, so (for now at least) I can’t seem to download them…

I can email them to someone if they have a Premium service…

Thanks to all for helping to bring this about!

That is awesome!! Congrats

I want pics  Hope the communication between the computer and webshots will fix itself shortly

You can email them to me and I would be more than happy to share them for you. My email is in my User Information  Congrats to all!

Here are the pictures of the beautiful Galatea RHR.

Congratulations!!! She’s lovely!!! <3

Congrats…she looks really nice…and BIG TOO…

SH:)

Congratulations! She’s a beauty.

Thanks! She does look pretty tall for 3mos(just abit older). Last year’s foal was also very tall, but I expect that, as she was by Schroeder (16.3hh, I think) and SHs are known for throwing height.

But GM is only 16.1 and Welkene is not that tall either (16.2, I think). Maybe they just mature abit earlier?

Congratulations to all and well done!

Thanks! BTW, how old is AFR these days? Do you have proven frozen semen from him?

I know it’s OT (but I’m allowed to hijack my own thread, aren’t I?:D) but AFR has always been on my short list…I just never seem to have the right mare at the right time…

 Thanks Kyzteke. AFR is 21, fit and sassy, looking wonderful and feeling great. He looks like a 15 yr old, just a little grey around the temples.
Libido and semen still excellent. We do have (limited) frozen semen for him.
Thank you for your kind comments about him over the years, it means a lot.

Best of luck to you and your lovely filly, and to Kathy and Goldmaker!

Congrats, what a darling foal. I have always had a fond spot for the palominos.

Congratulations and thanks for posting this! I’m keeping an eye on Goldmaker for my chestnut Trakehner mare; I’ve always wanted a flashy palomino; I’ve just been thinking I’d wait a season or two to see what GM produces! Great to see that he is producing such quality. Lovely filly, Kyzteke!

Thanks! This is the second time I’ve bred to GM; the first time was years ago, before he was approved. The dam of that colt was a half-sister to this filly’s dam; both were o/o a Batido daughter.

This mare,as noted, is a Weltmeyer daughter, whereas the other mare was by Rubino Bellisimo. That colt was sold at 8mos to a middle-aged ammie who started him pretty much by herself. It’s been awhile since I’ve heard from her, but the last time she said he was a real sweetheart to work with and loves him dearly.

His dam was a typical “R” line mare, and this filly’s dam is a typical Weltmeyer…alittle more sparky . Like her mother, she’s always gunning for Alpha Mare position…

Loved my 07 Goldmaker filly, yours is lovely, congrats on the great scores!!
