Thanks NBC - no live feed of Freestyle!

It is currently live on USA, and they are showing a full replay of Steffan Peters right now.

Thanks, I was able to watch a lot of the remaining rides on USA network.
I missed Carl and Hans Peter but got to see most of the rest of them.

The NBC Sports app on my iphone and ipad has been a very reliable go-to source for me - it pulled right up for Steffen’s ride to start the day, although the commentary had not yet started. I believe the full replays are available in the app as well for anyone who missed anything. I haven’t even attempted to watch in a browser because the app is working so well. Laura Graves should come home feeling very proud of the tests she put in, they were great to watch! And Charlotte and Valegro are just on another planet, I love their partnership and how happy the horse looks.

The music is so bad that if it weren’t for the odd Vanilla Ive rap interlude in Steffen’s music I would have believed that they overdubbed all of the tests so far with Musac bc of copyright issues. It really sounds like the background Musac you hear during a regular test at any random show in Florida. I hope it perks up bc this isn’t going to excite anyone.
That’s what I thought too until I saw the last 3-4 rides. They were on TV live earlier. Nice to see them on the big screen for a change!

Charlotte and Valegro are truly in a class by themselves. From what I have heard, they will show at the big Olympia show in London, so say ‘good-bye’ to their biggest fans – and then it is over.

I think they are right to retire him now. When he is at the top and is the best in the world. What more does he have to prove? The only way he can go is down, and he deserves better than to get beaten by horses who are younger than he is.

I heard that they will still give exhibitions and let their fans see them from time to time. But to keep on competing? No. Charlotte and Carl is doing exactly the right thing.

It’s also supposed to be on TV via the USA channel starting about now Might be better than nothing.
Yes I recorded it but have only watched one horse so far but it’s another option if live streaming isn’t working.

Weird. The CBC site worked fine for us, but I agree, there was a lot of boring music, and if no one ever again rides extended canter from the corner to the centreline followed by a canter pirouette it will be too soon.

I watched the whole thing on my computer and don’t ever subscribe to MSNBC so I don’t get that you have issues.
