Is anyone here planning on going to The Breeder’s Assistant Ultrasound & Mare Management Course in Ramona, CA 1/28-2/1?

Or, has anyone been in the past? I have always wanted to do a full course and I like that this one offers 20 hours of ultrasound. I’ve been able to do some of the palpations and ultrasounds on our personal mares but would love more experience, confidence, and skill.

I have taken the Breeder’s Assistant course, as well as the one-on-one courses offered by Kathy & Jos at equine-reproduction.com All I will say is that I highly recommend Kathy & Jos’s course. Absolutely amazing and well worth the money! As a result of taking their one-on-one course two years ago, I cannot tell you how much money it has saved us over the last year, as well as learning how to do things properly and 100% safe! http://www.equine-reproduction.com/services/one-on-one.shtml

I did the Breeder’s Assistant course. I thought it was very good. I learned a lot, met some great people, and felt it was well worth the money.

I took the Breeders Assistant course too and came away with a good understanding of using the ultrasound machine. The method we were taught for using frozen semen to me was way too complicated, so I adopted the method a friend uses with the Mini Tube stylette. MUCH easier and much more cost effective.

Overall I was happy, of course I learned a lot and came out of the course getting all of my mares in foal first cycle with frozen semen.

Thank you for the responses! I bit the bullet an signed up
