Likely the Ashley Godwin woman who is trying to flog her GA spread. Her well-heeled doctor friend bought her a charity Chrome halter or something and that gave them a foot-in-the-door to meet the connections at Santa Anita. Trouble is, she and her friend then turned into vocal groupies and followed the entourage to Newmarket and Ascot. She’s been to TM, too, to add to her Chrome-face-kissing photos like the ones she had taken in Newmarket. She is all smiles with Chrome, then her and her friend whine about Chrome’s condition in Newmarket and promote the Coburns while attacking the Martins. She saw the horse probably once or twice while he was recovering at Rae Guest’s from the abscess when they turned up for their personal photo-shoot in the UK to schoomze at Ascot – a photo of her shows her finery in DAP colors, if I remember. She probably thought they would ‘get to meet the Queen’ at the garden party. She manufactures and sells ‘equestrian jumpsuits’ to do the horsey chores in, if you want to spend a fortune on pink mucking-out clothes.

Morie is the woman (or ‘it’) who runs BCH. (Meyer)

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw Ms Austin’s complaint about owners who are unprofessional – talk about the poster boy for being a loser (now ‘former’ by choice) owner! She claims that the ‘horse deserves better.’ Yes, better than some of the crass, vulgar comments she has made about the Martins. Kudos for her charity work (sold a Chrome halter for big bucks in aid of it) but close ties to the Coburns doesn’t excuse her bias when she benefits from the present owners’ horse.

Apparently BCH doesn’t understand what a trademark is, since I just searched the US Patent and Trademark Office database (easily available online) and Bring Chrome Home is not registered. She also doesn’t seem to understand that parody is generally covered under fair use when it comes to copyright…

And I think BCH is a dumbass for not realizing that she couldn’t patent or trademark anything that concerned California Chrome because she doesn’t own him, and he happens to be trademarked by the LLC that does own him. :lol:
