It is a heating vent. He’s no dummy.
And yes, he’s a beast. That is a 150 lb great dane on the bed with him and Pancake is an average sized cat, for scale reference.

There has to be some Maine Coon in there somewhere, Rubyfree. He is one handsome dude! I have a heating vent cat, too. She’ll show up in next week’s photos.
mvp, of course I am careful how I torture my kittehs. It’s no fun having to replace them all the time.

But the world has a surfeit of cats waiting in line for your kind of torture. Just so you know.
I don’t need a whole lot of pictures to show you what Stella does all day/night. There’s not that much variation.
It’s exhausting to be this cute:

But mom - there’s nothing to eat!

Whew, all that eating is exhausting:

Although every once in a while she does like to help around the house!
Proofreading for me:

And oh yeah, daily exercise is very important! (She says this one makes her butt look big so don’t tell her I posted it!)

She plays pool too - I’ve posted the video a few times before.
She’s perfect isn’t she?
Wow! Stella is beautiful, PaintPony! And I am beyond impressed that she will condescend to traveling outside on a leash. I think any of mine would attempt to murder me in the night if I tried to do that. She must be very secure in her own specialness.
I did not get a chance to capture my cats- so I give you

Thank you! She is very special and I adore her. I got her as a scrawny, dirty, sick kitten with nasty ear mites. She turned out to be a beautiful girl - she is almost 10 now.
Truth be told I believe she is really a dog trapped in a cat’s body. She has many dog-like attributes (don’t tell her I said that!) and took to the harness very quickly. She LOVES going outside with me.
Anyone else doing Caturday again today? I’m following my other two cats around. Well, following, for Leon, is not quite the right word since he hasn’t stirred out of his man-cave since around 9 AM.
Well, just in case anyone is still reading this thread, I did Caturday again this week, with my other two cats. I’m glad I did, no matter who sees this, because now I have lovely albums of a day in the life of all four of my cats.
This is Leon. What can I say about him? He is a pain in the butt, a maker of mischief, the sometime terror of all the other cats, and a genuine love of a cat. He makes me laugh, and he makes me want to pull my hair out. I’m glad I have him, because I don’t know if anyone else could love him like I do.

This is Becky. I love all of my cats, of course, but Becky is my heart cat. She is the cat I posted about last year, who had to go to Cornell to have radiation treatment for her hyper-thyroid condition. I’m happy to report that it cured her and she is now in excellent condition.

You are obviously a MUCH better cat photographer than me! I have to ask, how did you get the name Disease?[/QUOTE]
Just came back to the thread and saw this.
HRH Disease was named Disease by my brother, who previously owned a toad named Conjunctivitis. He feels that cats are cute furry diseases, and chose to call her Disease. Mother calls her Dizzy or Princess, though.
That’s news to me. Will you post a link?
Also, may I say that your cat has a fine sense of color and composition? I know its easy being grey, but kitteh looks great with all the various colors in those backgrounds.
Thank your for those shots from the most recent of Caturdays.
Leon especially does it right— notice how many pictures are him in different positions in the same cat bed. That’s very honest. It gives that authenticating-boring- look of a documentary of a cat.
And Becky is stunning. She makes great eye-contact, no?

And she is very good at color coordinating! I bought this blanket recently and have to be careful because she blends right in: http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/1184_10151185943355213_1654415411_n.jpg
I’ve accidentally sat on her twice already.

STOP THE PRESSES! You have a cat named Leon? I also have a cat named Leon. His last name is “Trout.” He is named after a not-very-well-known Kurt Vonnegut character.
OH MY GOD! My Leon is also orange!

How’s that cat with claws on the felt pool table?
I remember my daddy giving me a pre-emptive yelling-at about not gouging the felt with a cue. And I don’t even have claws.
And she really does blend in well with that blanket.
Aww, just found this thread & loved the pictures!
I’m going to try to pick a kitteh to stalk this weekend - don’t know if anyone else is still doing it, but I’m going to give it a shot. Should be amusing, as mine can go out side too - but won’t go far off the porch this time of year…
My Leon came from the local Humane Society, Lollypop Farm, with that name, FineAlready. I usually change my new cat’s name, because the names they come with just do not suit them. But, Leon’s name was perfect for him. Somehow, it fits his slightly goofy, altogether loveable personality. Here’s a closeup of him that I just happened to take today. I love to take pictures of my cats, and have endless hours of fun doing so.
Beautiful cats, everyone!
Louise, your Becky is absolutely stunning.

That makes me  The really funny thing is that this is probably the most anyone besides me has seen of Becky. She is a scardy cat and hides upstairs under the bed or a chair whenever anyone comes into the house. To most of my friends, she is “your invisible cat.” She is also the reason I love my cat-sitter so. She is, for some odd reason, not scared of her, and greets her with enthusiasm every time she comes to the house, whether I’m there or not.
