The days after. Salinero back home

Judy Garland too!

And, Mickey Rooney too??!!??

Seb

OMG people…you are having the good vs evil debate centered on dressage!!! He is a lovely horse that is extremely volatile (Dutch…you don’t say!!) she is a lovely rider with a very volatile horse and a very volatile husband/trainer. It mostly works. You all diss her when she takes chances and you diss her when she doesn’t, the poor dame can’t win!! Isabel and Debbie’s horses came apart way worse than Salinero did in that venue (as did multiple others) she isn’t doing everything wrong or right… FGS…get over it!

Somebody else needs a little less caffeine…

Thanks for posting the video. He looks wonderful. I have nothing bad to say about her or Salinero.

phew…over it now

I LOVE Salinero. I have a smaller version at home. Very fun to ride. Very reactive. Very trainable. But capable of 42% at Novice level dressage. Not hot, just reactive and interested. Energizer bunny at home in the paddock.

So I am glad he is safe at home.

Grow up, people, if certain coaches had anky on their team they’d be grinning a mile wide about the medals she would win for the team and yelling ‘whatever works!’ and ‘many roads to rome!’

Yep but some have a different view on what road to take and feel some roads are less comfortable way to many bumps in the road:)

Mostly these people will hang around training level the rest of their life’s.

So are you saying Anky’s way is the only way?

How’s the view from down there?

The #1 and #2 riders of the last twelve years used the same toolbox to get there.

Wow! I can’t beleive that some of you people actually think that Anky doesn’t halt and throws away marks to say screw you to the judges! That’s nasty. Salinero is a volatile horse. I think that sums it up. I don’t think there is a plot to piss the judges off.

Does Isabell use it to the extent of anky? I have never seen the pics like I have Anky so does she only use it at home? Don’t get me wrong Anky has been very successful I just happen to really dislike her method. Some of the top reiners are very successful but if you saw how they worked their horses you might think it’s downright cruel and there must be a better way for both horse and rider. You cannot control what the judges do and fads come in and out so really you can only train the method that works best for you and your ethics…JMHO

She would have never even made the team, not with Klaus as coach. And not with the open-to-the-public warm-ups at the qualifiers here.

Even Klaus openly critizes her in a dvd available at the tack stores, entitled “working towards success.” Something about not a role model…[/QUOTE]

Is this why the USA is a leading dressage Nation?

But when Klaus wanted to butcher down Riexinger, he asked the Dutch for support

which makes Klaus one smart guy. Still has abslolutely nothing to do with how he picks a team.

I don’t know anyone who actually contributes and financially sponsors the team who wants to change the USET head coach, I think most all are satisfied.

I like that Theo gives us news from abroad.

If you’re not interested in it, you don’t have to read it.
