Yowza! Nice trot! And nice manners!
Thanks for posting that video.
All the horses Brandon showed behaved beautifully.

Who was handling? What color?
My pics are here: http://photosbychristolar.shutterfly.com/15622
Chris, did you by chance get any more pics from the 3 yr old non-tb mares? Or any pics from the amateur handler class? My filly was 3rd in both I found this one picture of her http://photosbychristolar.shutterfly.com/15757 but didn’t see any others.
Thanks!!

It was an honor to loose to her!! Jill does a great job of handling too :)
Jill IS “family” to her!!! Jill bought and brokered Grande Saber’s first fillies - Grand Affair and Grande Karma - The rest is History!!
So can someone point out what was so special about Arbor Day? The bay in front looked much more balanced and had a nicer front end. Was not impressed with Arbor Days neck.
The bay in front of her decided she didn’t want to stand still one more second and backed herself right out of first place.
I hope the bay will receive a bit of standing still NO MATTER WHAT training before Warrenton!
That is the problem! She is so good most of the time that there is no way to predict when it will happen. I have been brainstorming of a way to make it misbehave so we can correct it. I guess we will just have to wait her out even if it takes hours then whack her.
Laurierace, is that your filly, the bay? She is so nice!
Yep! Thanks.
It will be worth your while to take her somewhere, preferably a show of some sort, and make her stand until you say otherwise. AND, if you can get some help, do a lineup like it was at Devon and make her stand at the front. That is what pissed her off, I think, being in front where she couldn’t see the rest of the class. This is the most important thing, I think.
That is a good idea. There is a show nearby that does halter classes but they are with a western judge so I don’t know if she would get put up front. They didn’t like her sister when I took her there as practice for the Maryland Horse Breeder’s Association yearling show. She was the only TB in against adult QH’s though.
