Ditto!

In the Olympics, they are not allowed to use sponsors names, so its just Sam (Michael Jung), of Bushman (Not “Horseware”), etc.:

Does this also mean that Nina Ligon will be riding plain old Leon? That’s a good thing, I think.

<< Nina Ligon will be riding plain old Leon?>>

SFAIK, breeder prefixes like “Butts” and “Ringwood” etc are allowed.
Sponsor names are not allowed.
'This makes sense to me-- I don’t think the breeders get nearly enough credit in media.

Will anatares F just be… F?

His name is not a sponsor’s name, as far as I know. (Antares was a word before the saddles came out.)

Why does Ireland not have a full team? There are quite a few strong Irish riders out there right now, hard to imagine they didn’t qualify

Don’t know but I am glad to see that several of their horses are Irish Draught or Conn x’s

They haven’t qualified to have teams in SJ and dressage. They had to qualify at either the WEG or the European Championships by finishing in the top four or, in the case of the European Championships a certain place with the WEG qualified teams omitted. They didn’t in any of the disciplines. But in eventing, like the Australians, they qualified enough individuals to have a Team.

One of the horses on this list is boarding at the centre where I board and is stabled across from my horse. I keep telling him to take notes!

While they’re not team GBR, I’ll be rooting for them a bit.

Jules, can you tell us who? Or at least give us a hint  How exciting! I’d probably be hanging out there in all of my free time!

It is one of the individual dressage riders and they’re really quite lovely. Or, at the very least they didn’t complain while I was flailing around the ring and they were piaffing elegantly in the center!

I’m not even sure I would have had the guts to ride while they were there!

I work for one of the Team Canada dressage riders, and I am so proud of them both to making it this far considering the horse has only been doing Grand Prix for a year.

I know, right? I just kept telling myself that I’m sure they were aware of the existence of sloppy amateur beginners and it probably wasn’t the first time they’d seen one!
