the last photo in the article shows the level of confidence the horse has, it is looking at the photographer while it is clearing the jump, other horses would be look down course for the next obstacle

I too noticed the plain bridle with no martingale, such a nice simple look on a lovely mare. I was lucky enough to get to see War Dress compete with Charlie Weaver, what a wonderful horse she was. I didn’t realize she had to be put down at such a young age though.

She’s also peeking at the camera in the first picture. Although I don’t do hunters, I do miss the days when they actually showed over fences you’d find in the hunt field as in this example a stone wall.

I have several pictures of my mare side-eying the camera and jumping in great style, while I’m eyeing the next jump :rofl: I love it.
