Same situation. The next horse PPE will be 1) flexions , 2) w/t/c on lunge or in round pen Are we good to this point? 3) rads of neck & back 4) rads of feet & legs only if back & neck are clean.
Iām adding ECVM films to mine now, after my experience with my current horse. I also always do a blood panel - I got burned years ago by a seller drugging a horse.
Seems like weāve all been burned at least once! I did not do neck films. If the vet had concerns, I would have explored further. The drugging is really awful. Iāve never experienced that. Iām so sorry someone did that to you.
the neck problem was masquerading as being somewhat head shy. It was noticeable enough that the PPE vet took a very close look at his eyes. They were fine. Sellerās explanation was the horseās youth(3 yr old) and lack of training.
The problem with ECVM is that itās a malformation that doesnāt cause any problems⦠until it does. And horses who have it tend to go downhill as they get older.
I represent some wonderful Morgan Sport horses for their owners; these high % Foundation or 100% Foundation Morgans are for sale.
