My hound(s) pulled another hound’s leg out of the woods on our walk. Yummy.
Years ago driving to work in the early morning I passed a big German Shepherd dragging an entire ribcage (both sides) of a deer between his front legs taking it home. I can imagine the thrill his owners got when they opened the front door.
My mother’s dog dragged some skeleton (coyote looking) out of the ditch a few years ago. A full skeleton minus the skull.
When I was a kid our yellow lab dug up a calf that had died and was buried (clearly not deep enough) in the back field and dragged it home. Took her most of the day as the back field was at the other end of a narrow 65 acres from the house. It was a few weeks old when it died so wasn’t that small. I thought it was cool. My mother did not.
