The Maestro has written another book

Except for his pal “Ed.” Ed is immune to his bashing. (Thank God).

He posted his recollections of Carol & Gifted but omitted the part about getting chased out of the barn and having his life threatened. Somehow he managed to not make it all about him, for once.

Did he mention that he believed Carol/Christy to be mentally ill? I guess that he forgot he put that bit in print.

He certainly knows how to craft his narrative to fit the situation. And once he altered the names in his book, he gives himself the freedom to spin any tale he wishes.

On his FB page, in his otherwise respectful recollection of Carol/Christy and their interaction at Devon, there’s no mention of the armed security guard or the snobby groom. Only that Gifted/Talent was “grumpy.”

That’s Lorinda’s place.

There isn’t anything to confirm that RD was actually talking to him about anything. I’d love to hear RD’s recollection of this.

“Christy” made the unfortunate mistake of being nice to a kid once…who in turn now felt entitled to assume they were now besties and he had privileges. Boundaries are not something he understands.
Then add the made-up drama about the security guard and a gun and threats. And how he blamed “Christy” for not intervening…instead of recognizing he had pushed too far and she didn’t want him bothering her or her horses any longer.

Indeed he did, expert that he is. See page 4 of blather posted above.

Sorry, I meant on his FB “RIP” post, I know he accused her of being mentally ill in his book in the pages I posted. I just wonder if he’s doubling down on her being mentally ill because she witnessed a security guard threatening to kill both him and his father in his RIP post - am guessing not.

Wow! NP certainly has a vivid imagination. As many times as I have been to DAD, I don’t ever remember security guards knocking kids to the ground and choking them.

If she was in the FEI barn, his presence there might have been questioned.
But I knew those guards pretty well, the same guys were at several shows, most were retired Philly PD. Nice guys, as long as you were where you belonged.

I’ve always suspected that his unceremonious ejection from the stable area was because it was an FEI sanctioned competiton, and barn access is restricted to people with credentials.

Feel free to share the FB RIP post. I’m sure it’s quite erudite.

(deleted because I typed wrong thing. Imagine that!)

My gosh, he wrote something nice about a woman. That’s a breakthrough.

Very sad indeed for Mike Poulin.

But then he piles on to a nasty misogynistic post on DH.

Every now and then I glance at DH, just to remind myself of that site’s ugly otherworldliness. There’s a recent SW headline about Sarah Lockman “sleeping her way to the top” and Maestro seizes the opportunity to shill his book.

But first he disrespects accomplished riders by claiming that sleeping one’s way to the top is an “old school move” and, of course, that corrupt judging is “rampant” in dressage.

I wish I’d screenshotted the posts he’d made in one of the more prominent dressage groups about Nuno. All I can recall is that particular group is composed mainly of people with better-than-average dressage creds; IOW, people who don’t talk but DO.

He got super hot any time anyone criticized his idol, and got his figurative butt kicked on the regular. “Oh god, it’s Nick Peronace again. Ignore this guy; he’s a joke” kind of posts. At some point he probably went and deleted them, as is his wont. Then again I don’t invest a ton of time looking for his foolishness, but sometimes it jumps right off the screen.

If that’s the case his fan club should be lining up to sleep with him.

Never trust anyone who doesn’t make good on bad checks.
