What? How did he make that all about his book?

If he did, I’m fairly sure it wasn’t here. I could only find a record for one civil suit involving the COTH, back in 2016. And nothing with NP’s name on it, civil or criminal.

He did sue them, in Pennsylvania (filed 03/21/2014). He lost. I hope he was ordered to pay for the attorney they hired to defend them in court.

Docket number MJ-38208-CV-0000054-2014

Montgomery County.

Great! If it’s not his post, he can’t delete the comments. Someone should drop a link to this thread in there

I didn’t say editors did the fact-checking themselves.

It would have to be someone who doesn’t mind him potentially showing up on their doorstep to threaten them, or whose profile is private enough for him not to be able to collect personal information. Not sure anyone’s safety is worth it given his history of threatening behaviour and harrassment.

I must have missed the explanation of what a Flounce is and sea lioning
? what do they mean?

Here’s a good, concise def of flounce in this context:

Flounce

flounce (flaʊns)

v. flounce, flounced, flounc‱ing,

  • To leave an internet group or thread with exaggerated drama; deleting posts, notifying mods and or group users, and cross-posting on other groups to draw attention to the drama. Comes from the original use of gathering up skirts and petticoats and leaving in dramatic, impatient and exaggerated movements.

Annoyed that no one would agree with him, u/ipknightly proceeded to flounce from the thread; threatening all others with TOU reports and deleting everything that he had written on the thread.

And sealioning

Sealioning (also spelled sea-lioning and sea lioning ) is a type of trolling or harassment that consists of pursuing people with persistent requests for evidence or repeated questions, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity.

Flouncing is when someone gets their nose out of joint, announces they are leaving the forums, and flounces off. They usually come back, lol.

Excerpt from mybookïżŒ

It’s very true. Not ONE PERSON on The Chronicle Of The Horse, can apologize for their terrible treatment towards me. I have lots of very good reviews and have given those people so many chances to work with, and get to know me. Gaslighting is all they know how to do.

Funny how he puts up pictures of himself by a barn with a horse, when he has neither barn, nor horse.

You have to admit, the “clinic” scam only worked because he could travel to farms on other people’s dime. No one knew that he had no horses of his own and no training barn. The one horse he had as an adult , he boarded.

That is not how “Grand Prix” trainers roll. They have students with verifiable records , horses with grand Prix records. If a “trainer” doesn’t show and doesn’t take lessons themselves, there is no professional feedback regarding their effectiveness as a coach or trainer.

People who know anything about dressage know this, but it’s the people who don’t know, of whom he tries to take advantage.

COTHers should apologize for what? Being honest about his “expertise?”

Why does he keep talking about getting “good reviews” from his supposed clients. Written reviews? On Facebook? Yelp? Where? Proof is in the pudding, sunshine. Anyone can write a fake positive review and post it online. The positive reviews of his book on Amazon are proof of that.

If he wants us to believe he has skills as a teacher / trainer, then all he has to do is show us. Post video of lessons - something where he is actually providing correct information to the student and improving how the horse goes. Not something like the video which was shared on DH, which seems to confirm he knows little about dressage and is nothing more ham an up down lesson instructor.

Post video of himself riding a horse correctly. Heck, even photos of correct riding would do. All we have to go on recently are the painful photos of his shows with Carpathia which demonstrate he has no understating of how to achieve connection, suppleness, engagement, contact, or “on the bit,” let alone a clean flying lead change. Seems a bit suspect for a “Grand Prix trainer” to be lacking such basic knowledge and skills, no?

Post before and after photos and video of students showing their improvement. Post show scores of students. Surely amongst all his many, many satisfied customers, at least one must have ventured into the show ring?

Does he really not understand why nobody is willing to hire him for a clinic or lesson based just on his word and his “many positive reviews?”
