I’m not saying the glowing reviews are fake, but if I was gonna make up a fake name, I’d use something like…oh, the number one most common first-name in the world (Maria, for example), and something like in the Top 10 most common surnames in the US (Garcia, for example).*
Doing something like that would make it a lot harder for ‘haters’ to be able to find the ‘real’ person to verify they wrote the review, seeing as how there’d be 10s of thousands of them.
I’m sure there are many Maria Garcia’s who are absolutely lovely people, and have uttered the phrase ‘no, I’m not that Maria Garcia’ on more than one occasion. Let’s hope, just like Slim Shady, the real Maria Garcia stands up.
