Fictitious disorders
Which are notorious for overly generous scoresâŠ
So he showed a second level schoolmaster at Intro and Training Test 1? Even with all of that time off? Why not wait until the horse got more conditioning and showing it closer to its actual level?
Thatâs new.
Well, first of all⊠(Rolling up the sleeves of my bathrobe).âŠaccording to his book, the judge says nothing about bathrobes. He allegedly says something else just as ridiculously unbelievable, but nothing about bathrobes.
And geez, I think Nick has the wrong idea about bathrobes. Hereâs a picture of mine. Itâs made for parlor sitting, sipping cognac and slyly observing my shirtless pool boy wandering barefoot around my patio.
I canât find that show on the judgeâs record for that date. She judged there in 2017 but thereâs nothing there in 2016.
Do they list schooling shows?
If she didnât judge that day, then they have the incorrect info on the results page.

Kem knows who Nick is.
Could be that itâs not there because it wasnât rated. The one at that barn in 2017 was rated.
It was not a recognized show.
Not all heroes wear capes!
Nobody actually believes that when people question your behavior, morals or knowledge itâs because they are actually jealous.
I have come across one jealous personality at the barn, but this particular one was of the type that when she decided to be BFF with someone she couldnât allow that person to be friends with anyone else. She made insinuations rather than direct attacks in order to get the new BFF to drop other friends.
I think Nick is unfortunate in that he embodies the traits of all those personalities at the barn that people find irritating, if not downright obnoxious. Starting with the whiny child, through the Godâs gift teenager, the adult first time buyer who will be lecturing everybody who will listen on what theyâre doing wrong within a couple of months of their purchase, the âGrand Prixâ rider who was allowed to sit on their trainerâs GP horse once and has never before or after been anywhere near a GP horse, the âtrainerâ who even if they can ride to an acceptable level hasnât the capability of teaching etc. And I nearly forgot the Facebook âfriendsâ who proudly boast of their blue ribbons when you know they were the only one in the class and scored less than 60%. Although in the case of the latter sometimes you can smile and congratulate them whilst secretly sympathising knowing what theyâve been through to get that ribbon, and I tend to think whiny children lack good parenting, the rest become unbearable especially when you consider all the hard work and effort youâve made personally to reach the standard youâve achieved.
So jealous, no, rather Nick has made himself the focus for those of us whoâve had to bite their tongue for the sake of keeping the peace at the barn, those of us whoâve tried to avert disasters only to be told by a parent that their 12yo child is a âvery experienced horsewomanâ, those whoâve wasted money on trainers and then had to spend even more money undoing the damage. This thread is the rant weâve never allowed ourselves to do in public, the sorrow at the problems that could have been prevented, and finally the grief over horses that have suffered.

That pretty much sums it upâŠbut letâs just add that this is the opportunity to speak out and prevent the same from happening to others. Undoing damage done to a horse sometimes is impossible or takes a special person.
Ask me if I believe he rode the stallion that nobody else could in one sittingâŠthat is outright hogwash and he is lucky he didnât get killedâŠor the stallion wasnât as presented. Horses have long memories.
Who is DH?

Thereâs a pic of the wild stallion in one of his many blogs and/or FB sites, maybe his photography FB; I cannot remember. Little raggedy bay thing, like something in a CL ad. Crappy western saddle and his boast was âhe broke it using a western bit.â (such skillz!) You get the picture. Poor creatureâŠ
ETA: Just found the photos. Bay, not sorrel.
