The Minute Rice risotto was on his blog.
Thank you.
Great point. COTH is definitely somewhere Iâd check if I were getting involved with a trainer, seller, or barn. These threads probably save some unsuspecting person from dealing with NP.
Nick, of course you care.
Well, these posts are quoting his book, so of course everything thatâs said here is âcomplete bullsh*tâ!!!
I seriously love how often he refers back to the draft horse he competed at Training Level as one of the great examples of his success and sources of jealousy from the COTH haters. Does he really think it is that rare for non-WBs to compete successfully in dressage??
Nick mentions the award he gave at Devon. He is pretty lucky that Devon at Dressage didnât take his butt to court to get three yearsâ worth of sponsorship fees he never paid.
Definitely seems like the sort of rant that someone whoâs comfortable in their own skin and not bothered by the (valid) criticism would post.
Who makes an 8+ minute video if they donât care?
The horse trained by someone else, to a higher level than he rode? That draft horse?
Dude, seriously. If you were âcomfortable in your own skinâ youâd have ignored all of this and never written this delusional collection of fairy tales. You wrote it because you lack objectivity about your skills, and canât believe the rest of the world doesnât recognize you as the talent you imagine you are. And as for all of us COTH haters (LOL) needing to take lessons from you so you can show us what you know? You would have to prove you actually know something about dressage first. Dry humping an appaloosa doesnât count. Riding a training level horse and pretending itâs 3rd and 4th level doesnât count.
Our reviews arenât fake. They are the truth about your lack of knowledge and your ridiculous assertation that there is some sort of consortium of dressage people and judges conspiring to ruin you. The judges couldnât even figure out what test you were riding. They didnât make fun of youâŠthey were confused and frustrated by trying to score a very poorly ridden test that didnât even show most of the movements or physical capabilities needed at those levels (and the scores you received were actually quite generous).
As for your continuing offers to have any of us take a lesson from you and claiming we canât form an opinion of your skills unless we do that: You really have no idea who any of us are either, yet you claim we are a bunch of losers who canât ride. FunnyâŠdoes that look any different when youâre the one making the same claims you say you believe are unfair? Itâs fine for you to make judgment calls without seeing any of us ride. And you delete most anything you post that is evidenceâŠespecially videoâŠof your ability. Why is that?
I can promise you that the vast majority of people here in âSwamp Townâ can ride circles around you which is why we donât see any reason to have a casual, intermediate rider with no proven experience give us lessons.
Along those lines, why has the family counselor who wrote the foreword not booked you in all your brilliance to come to California to give one of your free clinics? I would think she would be singing your praises from the rooftops. Funny that she isnât.
OhâŠand you are nowhere near the number one topic on COTH. Not even close. You do provide some entertainment value, but in reality most of us feel sorry for you and find it sad you didnât want to actually learn to ride and get good instruction and enjoy learning.
Signed,
A Loser From Swamptown who evidently canât rideâŠwith lots of Regional and National titles to her credit.
Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! BWWWAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Oh Nick!!! You are not âa great trainerâ and you are not âa great riderâ. Hereâs the thing you havenât figured out yet. NO ONE WANTS YOU out to give a clinic because weâve seen you ride and train. I wouldnât ride with you if you came out here on your own dime. Weâve heard your drivel for years. Weâve heard from people youâve worked with and people you attempted to âassociate withâ.
You had a family counselor write your foreword, not a psychotherapist. Get that straight. The foreword does her reputation no favors.
And Nick, it seems that you are the one living in an alternate universe. Clearly, this thread bothers you enough to make a video and post it again claiming you are the victim. This thread actually discusses things YOU wrote in your book and you forget that people here actually have memories of things youâve previously posted on COTH. People remember what youâve said because so much was so ridiculous, obviously contrasted with other posts you said about the same subject, or was so easy to find out that it was a blatant lie. When presented with the facts, you doubled down on the lie. I donât think you can grasp how much your book makes you look bad. I hope more people read it because it makes your character and personality crystal clear.
Oh, and most of us here ride way better than you and have actually shown at levels higher than you. I think everyone here who has shown in recognized shows has scored higher than you and never had scores as low as you got. I suspect you are jealous that so many of us, even amateurs, score higher than you, ride at levels higher than you, are more educated about riding than you and simply ride better than you. No one wants you out for a clinic, all of your videos show that the proof is in the pudding. That is why you lash out at COTH. We talk about you because you have have never posted a video teaching anyone but a beginner/intermediate, and never posted a video of you riding any actual movement. Youâve never posted a video of your test anywhere. I was a regional reserve champ at fourth level and the warm-up you posted was not a fourth level warm-up. Oh, I scored much higher than you at fourth level.
Glad to see that youâve directed your followers to this thread, which is filled with descriptions of your book and your previous online woes. Anyone can do Google searches to find the truth. I know that bothers you.
ETA: I train my own horses, training level up. Iâve never had one in part or full time dressage training.
Getting in with the popcorn before Nickyâs houseguests arrive!
Aaaaannd: Go!

Amazing that Nick Peronace doesnât understand why no one wants him on their property.
If he hadnât wormed his way onto peopleâs farms by inflating his non-existing âcredentialsâ there would be no photos of him on a horse since the Appy, or as a junior, which was decades ago.
It is obvious to anyone who rides that he needs to take lessons, and is unqualified to give them.
Giving out other peoples addresses as his own and taking pictures of their farms without their knowledge or permission, to promote himself on his Facebook page and elsewhere, when they have nothing to do with him? Creepy.
They certainly wonât fall for his claim that he trained his Appy to Grand Prix again.
Itâs really too bad that Mr. Peronace ruined what could have been a nice concept for an award. If you want to sponsor an award in memory of your favorite horse there is nothing wrong with that, assuming that
- You donât lie about its training.
- You actually pay the sponsorship fee.
OkâŠso have I got this straightâŠ?
The guy who no longer rides horses but rides lawn mowers wants to give dressage lessons to people who ride horses but not lawn mowers?
I noticed that he said Dressage at Devon gave his horse a trophy and then quickly corrected the lie. I think itâs true that if a person lies long enough, they begin to believe their own lies. Heâs right to be careful not to say that Devon âgave his horse a trophyâ. They did not, and I think they might take exception to him saying that.
