The Maestro has written another book

It can’t be denied he wrote that,… Oy the spelling, grammar, etc… Pesky important details, I know.

His ability to try to deny what he has written, when it is plain to see, is extraordinary.

He really must believe that people are so stupid that they don’t believe what they see in front of them. It’s a very bizarre mindset.

I’m seriously surprised he doesn’t attempt to blame COTH’s Loser Libtard Bathrobe Brigade.

Notice that he isn’t threatening to sue, because it can probably be easily proved that he wrote those bizarre racist and homophobic diatribes.

His reply is predictable, isn’t it?

  1. He doesn’t exactly deny what he’s accused of; he just claims it’s all “ridiculous”
  2. Everyone’s against him because he won’t be “a patsy” (abide by rules of decorum)
  3. He hasn’t been kicked out or shunned, he’s resigning/doesn’t want to play anymore
  4. The real reason behind this is ____________ (some kind of conspiracy)
  5. Anyone can visit his social media pages and see The Actual Real Truth about him
  6. He’s moved on

Yes, forcibly required to ''move on". Also known as kicked out, IE, shown the door and becoming persona non grata.

If he believes that any intelligent human being can’t see that, he is sadly mistaken.

This made me snort sangria :rofl:

How completely on-brand for The Maestro.

At least nobody can claim his reply is just the work of a PR firm.

Unless it was his PR guy, Dexter. (Was that the name he used???)

Thanks to being stuck at home sick all day and how much empty space is on these pages, I’ve gotten quite a ways through the book.

The story about his “sponsor” in the book is very different from what we’ve heard before. This version has him going door to door in an industrial park until the owner of a detail shop who happened to own racehorses offered him $5000 to buy a horse, as long as he chose a Thoroughbred. No mention there of Carpathia having already been trained as a school horse.

I was also very amused to come across an “OMG!” pencilled into the margin on the page where Nick says that full-day turnout is just a scam by barn owners to avoid having to pay for hay, and that horses would much prefer to stand in a stall than to stand outside on turnout (because that’s what NP thinks he would prefer if he were a horse). His argument has certainly not changed my own mind about the benefits of full-day turnout.

Oh hey! I play FFXIV, too!

I also cannot believe NP is still at it…I’d forgotten about him. Reading this entire thread has me cackling!

I feel sorry for the man and totally wish someone in his family would get him the help that he needs so he can see that the world is not out to get him and so he can be happy in his own skin.

Edit to add - And clearly that mental help professional has to be far more qualified than the person who wrote his “forward”, if she truly did write that “forward”.

This is really well phrased and I wholeheartedly agree. It’s easy to say really snarky things about him b/c he has stalked and harassed women, even members of this forum, and that is a line crossed, for me, that causes me to really dislike someone.

But, ultimately, you are correct. He is not right and, if only he could get some help, he could be truly (not performatively) enjoying a life with a nice home, lovely wife and kids, the spectacular privilege of a supportive family and the safety net they provide him, and an interesting hobby, like amateur dressage.

I keep thinking about how he and DH criticise Charlotte. How does Charlotte respond to that? Not at all. She literally doesn’t even know they exist and are trashing her. She doesn’t produce The Mower Monologues each time they have a go at her. She’s out there simply living the thing she’s doing and what a bunch of nobodies on the internet say is of zero consequence to her. If she gets a bad score, she’d no more think NP and DH influenced the judges, than she would fly through the air.

THAT’S what not caring looks like. The Mower Monologues are the exact opposite. The Mower Monologues = caring a lot. If you’re really what you say you are, if you’re really living the dream you present online, then go live it. Who gives a flying focaccia what anyone else says if what you say is true?

I had a vision to bring back small businesses, A beautification project, School buses for all of our children, and much more.”

You overlooked how his “visions” are brand new, grandiose, life-changing and if only others had the clarity of mind and purpose to understand and embrace them (him), he can change the world FOR THE BETTER.

But oh well, if you can’t see HIS wonderfulness then he will go do lawnmower dressage.

I totally agree. I do truly dislike him because of the things he has done to innocent people.

But… I still feel sorry for him, because it truly has to be miserable being that person…the person who thinks the whole world is out to get him and that you are never treated fairly.

The unfortunate thing is that he and SW of DH are allowed by their families to rage on the Internet and are encouraged by their followers. SW has hate on for the Canadian Olympic riders primarily because a couple of them complained about her video taping of warm up rides and posting of unflattering moments. She was subsequently banned from several venues. She holds a grudge.

The things SW has posted on FB about Canadian Olympic dressage rider BFB are clearly online bullying (i.e., the blow up doll reference). BFB has handled this with grace by ignoring such posts….even though she knows who SW is. NP has gleefully joined in on her criticisms of this rider as well. Perhaps he should ride in one of clinics before he opens his unknowledgeable trap.

Problem is the online enablers and the PETA people. Their appeal is stronger than family intervention…clearly.

NP’s redeeming grace (if you will) is that he is a nobody and his online audience is small and full of strangers. He has to bribe people with T-shirts for reviews. Very sad dat…but we aren’t talking about a blockbusting bestseller exposé by any stretch of the imagination. And even then, readers would be challenged with his bad writing, editing and grammar to make sense of it. I don’t have patience with authors of that kind. There is just so much better stuff out there.

And I guess he hasn’t thought of this, but that book is now his calling card. One does not need to engage him to find out all his “secrets of training” or even to “know him.” Just read the book and run. It screams unprofessional and unknowledgeable. It’s like one of the “three editor’s” using that book as a reference piece to apply for an editing job. A hiring manager would throw that in the garbage…or use it as a training tool for “how not to edit.”

Happy Halloween, all. :jack_o_lantern:

Oh, but this version sounds much more romantic! A stranger in the office of a warehouse listened to the lad, was impressed with his earnestness, and coughed up $5,000 so he could get a horsie. Yeah, right. If this tactic works, I’m gonna need a different bathrobe.
