You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I respond to posts, not posters, and so when someone-anyone- posts erroneous information, yes, I will respond. Nothing personal, applies equally to everyone.
It is always good to remember that ‘tone’ perceived by a reader is not necessarily ‘tone’ in the author’s mind when composing a message. I’m certainly happy to leave reasonable people to draw their own conclusions, everyone’s posts are right here for perusal. Most reasonable people would, I think, consider a post that begins ‘Nice death threat’ to NOT fall into the category of a post inviting pleasant and civil discussion. One could even take it to be ‘combative.’ Certainly, in context, completely false, as others have also pointed out.
