So what is the meaning of the green dot at the end of some topics?
I didn’t find it in FAQ’s.
Is it some secret COTH sign? Did I miss out on something?
Please tell me it isn’t a message like
“Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.”

There are two green dots:
Dark green = new thread
Light green = new posts on a tracked thread

But why is it only on certain topics?
The topics that don’t have a dark green dot aren’t new threads.
The topics that don’t have a light green dot aren’t threads that you’re tracking.
Arrows = new threads
Circle = tracked thread
Everything else = not new, not tracked

What do you mean by tracking? Ones you have previously viewed?
It would be nice if they brought back the preview function where you can see what the post is about without actually clicking on it…
What defines a tracked thread for you is in your settings. I think default is viewed for 4 minutes, but there are several options. All threads you respond to are tracked by default as well.
