Sometimes the stars just align perfectly. This little one came home with us yesterday and she’s just the perfect match.
She’s a Maltese/mini Aussie. She loves everyone she meets and is already best friends with our Cocker Spaniel. She slept through the night pretty well and we introduced her to the cats this morning. She was fine. The cats are less then impressed, but cats are always skeptical about newcomers. I think the cats object to her barking more then her being here as they did touch noses with her before making a retreat.
She’s incredibly smart. Already learned her way through the house and around the yard. She comes when you call her. Still working on housebreaking but I don’t think it will be difficult as she tries so hard. She’s totally a lap dog and loves to just sit and cuddle.
I think she needs a haircut as she picks up twigs just walking through the yard.
I’m thinking of calling her Kaycie.
