I saw articles that said he was a huge animal lover with a bunch of dogs (and birds) and could often be seen riding his horse around town. Sounds like he was really a nice guy.
I had no idea he was horsey and I also don’t think I would have recognized him all cleaned up. I loved that band growing up… still listen to the older music - Spitfire is one of my favorites. How awful 
What a coincidence, I just finished reading his obituary in the newspaper, sounds like he was a very nice person although nothing was mentioned about him being an animal lover.
Nico Morgan said in a FB post that he first met him while Nico was in Essex for a photoshoot and Flint had been having a dressage lesson. According to Lissa Green’s website, he bought her retired 4* horse for a pound.

Just shows that someone’s “public” persona can be so different from how they are in every day life. I read he had just done a “funrun” race had a personal best time 2 days before. I find it so sad when anyone takes their own life.
