I hope one day that a Japanese horse will win the Kentucky Derby. The Japanese public is so into racing. It would be great to see an entire country be happy with a Derby win.

I had no idea Japan’s rise was so recent. I mean, I remember Sunday Silence’s derby win and his success in Japan. The Japan Cup has been in existence most all of my life. I had no idea those major wins in 2006 were so historic… I barely even remember them being news…

I was hoping he would come over for the BCC and blow everyone off the field. Alas, his front leg injury keeps sending him back to the farm…I think he’s missed the best racing years for him to come over here now. [/I]
