I attended the Middleburg steeplechase races over the weekend, and it looked like a horse in the first timber race named The Silent Trainer came away with some pretty severe knee injuries. His jockey pulled him up and dismounted right by where I was standing at the fenceline - it looks like he caught a jump with his knees but managed to stay up.
I’m just posting on the off chance that someone here might know if he’s ultimately OK? I haven’t been able to stop thinking about him and hoping he’s OK.
