Come and watch or participate in the Sunshine Classic I & II on September 4 and 5, 2010 at Canterbury Showplace in Newberry, Florida (west of Gainesville). These shows are USDF/USEF recognized dressage sport horse breed shows sponsored by the Sunshine Sport Horse Association which is an organized group of sport horse breeders in Florida and Georgia begun in 1999. Visitors are welcome and will see all breeds and types of dressage sport horses & ponies being shown in-hand from youngsters (weanlings through 3-yr-olds) to breeding stallions and mares, as well as, young horses started under-saddle. It is exciting to watch the handlers run their horses to show their very best trot. If you are thinking of buying a quality dressage prospect this is a great place to start looking!!! Come and meet the breeders in your area as many of them are producing nationally ranked horses.
