The very last Gold Apollo daughter....

I’m super excited to say that the very last Gold Apollo baby ever born is in foal to Palladio and headed to our farm. She is by Gold Apollo and out of an imported mare by Pericles so really fun bloodlines. Can’t wait to see what the cross gives us!!! It’s going to be a long wait!
Between receiving confirmation of the Gold Apollo mare having an embryo with a happy heartbeat, checking our new-to-us Galoubet/Abdullah mare in foal and having our Gonzo mare check in foal it’s been a good week!

Just got done foaling out day before yesterday and already looking forward to next year’s kids! lol!

I have one picture up of her on P’s facebook page (Crestline Farm, Home of Palladio). I can’t get the conf shot to reformat out of word so having that resent to me She’s a super nice, proven mare and we’re excited.

The Galoubet/Abdullah had a Landfriese II last year so is on Edgar’s Landfriese Offspring page. The filly was #5 in the country so I"m hoping to get a nice baby! I’ll have to get pics of that girl up soon…just not enough hours in the day, lol!

I hope this is ok to share, but I actually still have a picture of the Galoubet A daughter (can’t be a lot of those left foaling either, I would imagine) in my tagline that my father took for me a couple summers ago–chestnut above “2009.”

You can use the picture (of the mare) if you would like. I don’t mind.

We have a 10 yr old Galoubet A mare that foaled a gorgeous colt by Riverman last month. She is going to Pilox/Pilot this year since the winner of the 2011 WC Finals is Galoubet-Polydor/Pilot. Hooves crossed!
And we have considered Liocalyon and Landkonig for her future.
So there are a few Galoubet daughters left!

I’m super excited to see what both these mares produce. The Galoubet is from an Abduallah dam so nothing slouchy there and I think Palladio’s type will be stellar on this mare! AND the Gold Apollo is from a daughter of Pericles xx…that is such old blood. As I’ve looked around online it seems that Pericles is now way back in pedigrees so I’m excited to have a mare with him up close. I think Gold Apollo was 24 when bred to the Pericles mare who I think was also 23-25yo. This gives our new mare some really great old blood. And now…we wait…
