The whole site is slow

I’m blaming it on the Fly Predators ad at the top of the page. Every time those darn flies show up everything slows down

If the whole web was this slow I wouldn’t notice COTH being slow.
Duh.

Or maybe you have just been one of the following:

1. Really lucky to not experience slowness problems elsewhere.
2. Unobservant to the point of not noticing slowness problems elsewhere.
3. Simply not on other sites when they are having a slow time.

Duh.

Edit to add: Mod 1 says they are looking into it. This is a free forum. Say thank you and go visit one of your other websites that is not too slow for you.
Does that sentence need a Duh too?

there have been web issues at least for me on Google searches or even sourcing news… not consistent but at times.

After working fine for a few days, I’m now getting the slow down and the “Error” message again.

the Slowness appears to be directly related to Barisone threads in the Dressage forum … if you experience slowness just check the activity on the current thread where there can be a 1,000 post in an hour

So my guess this site will be fixed a few days after the jury returns a verdict, site may crash at the time of the verdict

Agreed on all counts. Hopefully, it can stay functional when activity likely spikes after the verdict is announced.
