Thinner Hunter Show Pad for Forward Flap Saddle?

I am not a fan of the thick show pads. I currently have an Ecogold which I think adds too much bulk in between saddle and horse. I am looking for a pad that is contoured but has a thinner base layer with the fleece edging. I also need the velcro straps because the Ecogold lacks them and I do prefer them.
I ride in a forward flap Devoucoux Biarritz.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

I’m pretty sure Wilker’s can create a saddle pad for you based on your saddle measurements and they are lovely.

Agree with @TatteredDaydreamer - Wilkers would be the best option. This link will show you the particular options, and you can order through your tack shop with specific measurements for your saddle:http://wilkers.com/show-saddle-pads.html

You might also email Wilkers and see if they have the Devocoux specs, they have them for CWD. I’ve had a forward flap CWD and Voltaire Palm Beach that were both extremely difficult to find off the shelf show pad options for, and I ordered the OG (Olympic Gripper) style and had a girth strap added and it worked great - turns out the CWD 3C flap measurements also worked for my Voltaire so I didn’t have to send in separate measurements.

All you have to do when getting a custom Wilkers is proceed through the online ordering process and screens as though you’re getting one for a CWD. Then at the end in the “Comments” box put in the specs for your Devoucoux (the numbers on the flap) and this is what Wilkers will use. (I had them add an inch to the spine length of the pad because I personally like the “roomier” look from front to back and it gives some wiggle room when it’s a groom and not me tacking up at a show.) If there are any questions, the rep from Wilkers will contact you. Honestly, it couldn’t be easier!

Wanted to bump this thread because I am also looking for the thinnest pad that would be appropriate for hunter classes. My saddle (Bates close contact) is fitted to my horse with just a thin all purpose, quilted pad, and the fleecey pad I just tried did not fit it. My horse is a princess who reacts poorly to change and the slightest bit of discomfort! Right now I am just hoping to do some low level hunter classes at local, unrated shows, so I’m not looking to invest a lot in a pad ATM. Any recommendations for a pad that would work without breaking the bank, or do I just show in a plain white square pad (cringe!)? TIA!!

They make shaped pads that have a rolled edge all around and the rest is quilted similar to this

That might be just what I am looking for. Thank you!
